As the Area Shopper & Category Manager, you define and develop the shopper and category vision and strategy across the markets in Nordics & Benelux for the oral healthcare category. You define and deliver commercial solutions and toolkits, based on the shopper journey and category insights. You also lead Area prioritization and optimization on shopper and category insights and toolkits and are the link for shopper and category marketing across the markets in the Area.
You can be located in Solna,Sweden; Brøndby, Denmark; Amersfoort, Netherlands; Espoo, Finland; Oslo, Norway or Wavre, Belgium.
Your responsibilities:Category / Brand ownership at country level:
Create synergies in terms of fewer, bigger and aligned activations across the Area.
Adapts global toolkits to be fit for purpose for local markets to execute with excellence
Ensure best practice sharing across the Area and all markets on shopper and instore activities across pharmacy and mass market channel as well as Ecommerce.
Shapes the category strategy for oral healthcare, based on category insights and analytics including shelf improvement and optimization.
Provides category solutions with focus on shelf improvement and optimization.
Guides the Area and local teams on portfolio prioritization and shelf-spacing, including selling arguments to customers.
Has a good understanding of the retailer/category/shopper across the Area and markets
Collaboration with local Customer Marketing, Category Management and Sales
Identify meaningful category and brand strategies and leads the team to drive better execution in store, on shelf and with online retailers covering the 5Ps
Bring our category and brand strategies and shopper claims to life in store and online so they resonate powerfully and inspire the required shopper behavioral change
Champion the use of appropriate measurement tools/frameworks to ensure focus on the right KPIs to continually drive learning
Support brand teams, sales team and trade marketing teams to develop robust co-creation ideas that are customized to the retailer strategies and shoppers, and optimized shelf presence.
This is a fixed – term contract till the end of February 2022.
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
several years’ relevant experience (Brand Management, Agency, Category Management, Shopper marketing, Sales), ideally from FMCG sector
Well-grounded knowledge in applying channel and category management tools
Skilled in understanding spectrum of data, which can be used to generate insight and performing analysis and drawing insight from that data – whether qualitative or quantitative.
Digital commerce experience (understanding digital strategy, customer targeting and measuring).
Demonstrated leadership abilities, and the ability to work and engage within a cross-functional team
Skilled communicator and able to influence across a matrix organisation
Excellent communication skills in English
