This role has a broad remit within the Fresh Business Unit, supporting the Business Unit Operations Manager in the coordination of the business unit strategy to support delivery of budget and Food Strategy targets. Responsibilities include coordinating plans for the Fresh BU on category planning (ABCs), supplier planning, strategy, ranging, secondary space, events, new system/process roll out and consistent ways of working for the Business Unit.
The primary objective of the role is to support the business unit in being strategically aligned, delivery to plan and operating consistently to standard processes and policies. The role will be increasingly important as new technologies transform our ways of working and the business unit resources adapt to the new platform requirements.

What I need to do
This role is part of the Business Unit Operations Team – working with the other Business Unit Delivery Managers and in parallel with the Business Unit Operation Team in the other Business Unit (Grocery/Fresh). It requires working closely with the category teams in the business unit and other teams around the business including central operations, legal, DACE.
The role has a wide range of responsibilities. It is expected that these responsibilities will be shared across the 3 Business Unit Programme Managers focusing on the strengths in the team, however, the team structure needs to include the complete set of skills and experience in order for the team objectives to be met.
