An opportunity has arisen within Electrical Systems & Equipment Procurement (PEGA) for a buyer position. The successful applicant will join Power On Board Procurement team in Tou-louse to manage major European and American Suppliers.
Tasks & accountabilities
• The job holder implements & ensures application of the Power On Board Sub-Commodity & Procurement Strategy in close cooperation with the Supply Chain Leader / MFT Leader and in accordance with Airbus processes. • The job holder contributes to the Equipment & Systems Procurement policy and prof-itability. • The job holder plans and implements cost reduction campaigns and projects. • The job holder runs call for tender processes, negotiates changes requests, manages corresponding approval and authorization processes and ensures associated order-ing (NRC ordering and Master Data management). • The job holder supports the definition and implementation of supplier rating and development programs in close cooperation with Systems Sourcing team and ensures appropriate follow-up of development measures. • The job holder works with representatives of other functions in accordance with busi-ness requirements. • The jobholder is in charge of the contract management, performs regular contract reviews in order to (i) guarantee compliance between contract terms & conditions and the activities conducted by the supplier (ii) proactively manages risks and (iii) manages deviations and litigations by taking appropriate actions to protect Airbus' interest.

You will have the following skills and experience : - Experience as a buyer - Effective negotiator with proven commercial and contractual background and legal awareness - Financial key indicators knowledge - Ability to drive improvement & innovation to concrete results - In depths know-how of the Systems & Equipment market and supplier strategies of his/her perimeter - Proven in communication, especially with supplier representatives - Effective management of customer expectations and stakeholders - Negotiation level in English
