As an up and coming procurement specialist, you will be joining an industry leading, energy services company, where you will have the scope to make an impact in a reorganised procurement function.
This will be a role where you will use your Indirects Procurement experience, managing both pre-contract sourcing activity and post-contract supplier relationship management.
You will be working with key stakeholders and the Procurement Managers in order to support the Business in order to develop and manage a suite of contracts, meeting the ambition of the Business.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
The post-holder will be a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or a student member working towards the professional qualification, or alternatively willing to qualify under sponsorship.
Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with experience and ability in working with and advising Senior Management.
Experience of developing supply chain strategies for IT and/or Marketing categories would be beneficial but generalist Indirects experience is also suitable.
A good level of understanding of contract and commercial law and sound understanding of contractual terms and conditions.
Experience in Bid Process Management including supplier sourcing, documentation, evaluation and selection and managing the tendering and award of contracts for high value multidiscipline contracts.
Experienced in negotiating high-value contracts.
Commercial acumen, being able to understand complex commercial issues, and drive complex commercial negotiations to conclusion.
Team Player with proven experience working with cross functional teams.
Project planning skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
