To own, deliver and optimise the buying and selling strategy for the buying area. Sustainably growing market share and cash profit through a competitive and distinctive customer offer, aligned to our strategy to deliver Destination Sainsbury's.
This role has accountability for our existing range as well as sourcing new and distinctive products in line with the PQF process. The buyer will also work with the cross functional team to review our OB products identifying opportunities for product improvement, NPD and cost savings through consolidation, tender or efficiencies.
