We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and exceptional Buyer Assistant to join our close-knit team at our iconic Piccadilly flagship. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate, driven and committed to a career in luxury buying. Working on women’s fashion, you will seek to maximise sales, profit and availability, with innovative ranging, careful analysis, and collaboration with the merchandising team.
Our successful candidate will be involved in the daily administration and support of product set up and critical path plan, as well as handling all invoice and account queries. You will be a confident Microsoft Excel user, as this role will involve collating orders, analysis and sell through reports for the buying team. In addition, this role will liaise regularly with our supply base and work with various departments across the business, most notably with the merchandising, retail and marketing teams, so we’re looking for a confident communicator, and someone with a can-do, positive attitude.
The ideal candidate will enjoy the opportunity to work with minimum supervision, and have commercial awareness of the business and current trends. A high level of organisation is key, as well as the ability to prioritise responsibilities and work to tight deadlines.
