As our Category Executive you will work closely with some of our external customers and provide them with insights and recommendations to drive their Category growth.
Internally, you will feed insight back into the business to drive our decision making. You will have a natural curiosity to truly understand what is driving the performance of both the Category and Beiersdorf.
You will also highlight the key drivers of Category performance within your customers and recommend to the internal team how to optimize performance.
Developing strong, trusted relationships with your Buyers by proactively identifying opportunities to drive category growth. These could be through ranging or distribution gaps, promotional optimisation, merchandising or competitor retailer reviews.
In this role you will work closely with the relevant account teams on aligned KPIs and a clearly defined contact and engagement strategy – you will need to ensure that you are prioritising across accounts and categories as well as playing a key role within the new product Go-to Market Strategy, with a focus on ensuring you have the right solutions for your customers and delivering first class execution.
You’ll need to have strong analytical skills in order to turn data into insight, an ability to summarise and simplify complexity, as well as being a confident and engaging story-teller.
Confident using a variety of data sources (e.g Nielsen, Kantar, Retailer own Data) to identify these opportunities, an analytical mind where you are confient to turn insight into proposals.
Keen to build relationships and work collaboratively with both internal and exteral stakeholders
Performance driven and pro-active ideally wirh retail or FMCG experience.
A curious mind is key and strong Interpersonal Skills with the ability to build established and trusted relationships.
