Our Wind Power business has invested £160 million in a rotor blade manufacturing facility, at Alexandra Dock in Hull in Yorkshire. Constucted in 2016, our 1,000 strong work force produces the blades for load out to the Offshore Wind Farms around the UK.
Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, we are looking for a candidate who will take the lead in regards to the Distribution Centre administration control including but not limited to responding to and fulfilling the Operational Order requests, ensuring they are dealt with compliantly, quickly and efficiently with a cost and time focused approach and maintaining accuracy of shipment details within the SAP system, checking and maintaining inventory control records for audit purposes, collecting and measuring department performance data including producing department key performance indicators, work with ECC department for to collate details for imports and exports from/to the DC, order and distribution of all consumables required for the running of the distribution centre. Respond to additional requests efficiently whilst maintaining integrity of SCM function and working within procedural guidelines.
You will assist the Material Management team to ensure accuracy with all data held both systematically and paper based. To maintain and ensure accurate data within the material management SAP system, electronic records and paper based records. Working with the Supply Chain Management Coordinator to deliver functional KPI reports. Professional driving force to be able to work well alone and as part of a wider team to influence change management positively.
The ideal candidate will have atleast 3 years experience working within an administration role preferably within warehouse/distribution facility. Knowledge within business processes and supply chain is essential, you must have strong attention to detail, be able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. Experience of SAP systems with MRP functionality is an advantage. Some travel and overtime may also be involved in this position so you must be able to accommodate this.
