As a Category Manager Enterprise you are responsible for the creation and implementation of material category strategy (“MCS”) for Unified Communications& Connectivity (UCC). You will lead negotiation of the contracts in this category interacting among others with Product Teams and the local SCM teams across Vodafone Group.
It is your job to deliver the optimal cost of ownership, create savings and centrally managed spend target whilst securing the delivery of projects in accordance with global strategy. Furthermore, you deliver innovative commercial models, contribute to the category supplier roadmap and ensure longer term sourcing decision are considered during category development. Next to that you enthusiastically support global contract management and governance structures.

With us you will:
Optimise supplier performance through strong commercial management, ensuring business value is delivered & competitive advantage is maintained
Drive supplier selection and recommendation: commercial strategy, negotiations, savings, cost modelling, contract with suppliers
Develop / Support the category strategy for Unified Comms & Connectivity
Build and maintain a very strong partnership with Vodafone’s stakeholders at Group and local market level and ensure continuous alignment with the category strategy;
Manage relationship with key internal stakeholders (Products & Solutions, Line of Business, Technology Enterprise Services, Supply Chain.) at Group and also at local level
Report into a Principal Category Manager and act as a primary point of contact for the appointed specialist vendor
Agile working: take part/lead cross-category and/or cross-company projects

Strong analytical skills and ability to conceptualize
MBA degree or equivalent
