The Appliances category comprises of major domestic appliances like washing machines, fridge-freezers, ovens, floorcare like ironing and vacuuming and small domestic appliances like food processors and coffee machines. We use customer insight to define our categories trading strategy and work with brands, retailers and business sellers to bring the right product range and promotional activity on ebay.co.uk to provide the best selection at market leading prices for our customers.
As the Home Entertainment category trading manager you will be part of the Electricals and Entertainment team. The category is fast paced and highly diverse. Our customers look for the best value and the best selection so it is critical that we are showcasing our unbeatable selection and promoting a range of exclusive offers every day. You will be working with Business Sellers, publishers, film studios and music labels to generate sales by building promotional campaigns and sourcing innovative new products and technology.
As a manager in the trading team, you will be accountable for both the operational and commercial success of your category and the wider category experience and retail standards.
You will be working cross functionally to influence the wider organisation and partners to ensure delivery of commercial targets and partnering with the Category Lead in developing the annual and quarterly commercial plans for the Home Entertainment category.
It is critical you are a strong negotiator and have strong buying experience and category knowledge. You will have industry experience and be able to demonstrate a customer focused approach. You will be skilled at securing top products availability and pricing and handle internal and external stakeholders to gain support for your category.
