Category Manager - HR opportunity for a Leading Multinational Professional Services firm. A superb opportunity in a dynamic fast paced blue chip procurement function.
Reporting into the Category Lead you will support delivery of a “best in class” procurement function and will be responsible for providing a professional and reliable procurement service to all stakeholders within the UK and Republic of Ireland.
You will develop and execute Procurement strategy for HR sourcing activities (sub categories include: L&D, Benefits, Recruitment, Resourcing, HR Systems) in accordance with the category strategy and business partner needs and requirements. Lead complex RFPs and negotiations and support the team in the analysis of the information and the negotiations of the contract. You must have the ability to ensure functional excellence within your category, especially strategic sourcing, supplier management and user compliance.
You must be a strategic thinker with first class negotiation skills, vendor management experience and proven experience within an HR category management role. We require a candidate with first-class stakeholder and supplier engagement skills, the ability to build credibility and trust at the highest level is critical. You will be able to demonstrate strong technical, strategic and project management skills and will be comfortable influencing and guiding stakeholders with sourcing decisions at a senior level in a blue chip, matrix organisation.
You should preferably have experience of working in professional services procurement within the Financial Services sector and you will be able to show dynamism, hunger and the ambition to progress your career in a fast paced environment.
