They are currently recruiting for an IT Category Manager to join their procurement team within Business IT, you will be given autonomy within the IT category and key projects focusing around digitalisation, innovation, data privacy and outsourcing as key examples.

Responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies across the IT category
Ensure that the category is fully aligned with the companies’ IT strategy and to meet the business objectives of the relevant divisions, delivering maximum value and competitive advantage
Leading and steering of strategic and tactical sourcing activities, major tenders and change initiatives for IT
Development, negotiation and implementation of easy to use frame contracts to increase efficiency
Providing subject matter expertise to the wider business, bringing innovation from the outside world, to help build a sustainable leading procurement function
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders up to understand and align Procurement’s objectives with the business’ needs
Relevant university degree (or appropriate work experience)
Detailed procurement expertise as a Category Manager regarding procurement strategies and contracting within a large corporate or services environment or strong IT experience including projects, operations, commercial steering and relevant supplier market knowledge, ideally in the following areas:
IT-Services, including outsourcing and offshoring
Applications Development and Maintenance
Cloud, including SaaS, PaaS and IaaS solutions
Data centre and hosting services
End user services and service management
Networks and communications services
Strong analytical and communication skills, combined with a pragmatic approach
Ability to work independently
Promote and drive cross-functional and cross-border cooperation
Familiarity in stakeholder management and interaction with executive counterparts
Good portion of self-confidence and persuasiveness as well as strong negotiation and conflict management skills and social aptitude
Fluency in English is essential, German or Swedish advantageous but non essential.
