This role works closely with the Category Manager, Lever Owners and the broader Category Team to provide analytical and process support to deliver actionable plans that differentiate the Waitrose and Partners offer whilst driving Commercial Value. This role would suit someone with the ability to establish strong cross-functional working relationships and influence senior Partners as well as the ability to nurture and develop talent. The ability to obtain, collate and analyse numerous data points to pull together actionable insight is critical.
Required essential experience skills and qualifications
Degree, MBA Microsoft Office (or Google Apps), Business Objects (or similar) Experience: Experience in Process and/or Critical Path development Very strong analytical skills and the ability to interrogate and draw conclusions/useful insight from data Experience in Strategy development preferably in a retail or commercial environment Buying or Category Management, Category insight translation, Range & Space management, Price & promotion management, Strategy Development
