The Embellishment (Copacking) Planner is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the Production & materials requirement plan for the finished good products of the Hygiene Business Unit. This includes work across functions (Sales, Marketing, Demand Planners) and 3rd part manufacturers to define the appropriate stocking strategies for the materials, as well as forecast and inventory management in order to support the sales and customer service targets.
1 / Production Planning
Forecast Management for the Promo SKUs
Ensure the feasibility of the plans (Product availability + Materials, capacity)
Establish the Daily/weekly delivery schedule for finished products
Follow daily the progress of deliveries vs plan
Minimize/Eliminate stock difference at for embellished SKUs
2 / Flow management
Manage the up Stream and down Stream logistics flows of the finished products between the embellisher and Warehouse
Avoid delays in supply and delivery
Manage information flows inherent to the activity
3 / Records Management
Collect and challenge the need of the purchase order
Create/Manage the changes in the Materials from Marketing
Follow-up for materials orders with Marketing Team
4 / Service Improvement Projects
Participate in process improvement projects / service tools
Be proactive on continuous improvement
5/ Logistics
Minimize stock difference at Warehouse for embellished SKUs
Manage deliveries between embellisher & Warehouse
Most logistics cost management related to embellishment
6/ Materials Management
Generate MRP based on forecast & production planning of copacker
Issue orders to selected supplier based on the defined procedure
Ensure on time delivery of materials for smooth production planning
Manage deliveries between embellisher & Warehouse
Follow daily the progress of deliveries vs plan
Minimize/Eliminate stock difference for Materials
Ensure SMNM report on monthly basis
Actively participate with marketing to propose solutions to reduce obsolete mat inventory
You’ll succeed because…
- Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business-related fields.
- Min 1 or 2 years of experience in managing planning and forecasting in an international environment combining ERP & non-ERP inputs to determine data most relevant to the business needs Technical understanding of SAP, SNP/APO, or other Supply Chain information systems
- Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Access. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Full ownership minded, thinking end2end with a “driver” mentality
- Able to think outside the box
- Team Player and all-rounder, combining excellent analytical and communication skills;
- Is stress resistant and challenges with an open mind both internally and externally;
- Excellent communication skills in English both spoken and written. (Dutch advantageous)
