The CASC EMEA Contract Execution specialist is accountable for all contract execution activities for fundamental/small scale flow(s) for one or multiple product lines on Domestic and Inland cross-border flows. The goal is to maximize the customer satisfaction and revenue by meeting supplier/customer needs and expectations with regards to contract execution & order fulfillment.This role is responsible with direct oversight of Execution Team Lead and/or Senior team member for all sale and/or purchase contract execution activities for one or multiple fundamental/small scale flows and/or one or multiple product line.
Principal accountabilities :
With direct oversight, manages the nomination of inbound and outbound counterparty obligations
Responsible to monitor daily execution of the shipment plans, identify and escalate any deviation from original plans applying developing knowledge of execution practices and procedures.
May assist more senior members of the team in monitoring the logistics process of at point of origin, tracking movement of commodity during voyage and unloading at discharge point
Under direct supervision and in line with contractual terms and execution procedures/plans, may appoint service providers such as supervision, fumigation companies, stevedores…)
Customer interaction / business partnership:
Work with suppliers/customers , commercial & planning, logistics to ensure the supplier/customer’s delivery requirements can be met whilst maintaining an efficient and effective supply chain.
Pro-actively inform suppliers/customers of down time of our facilities, delays with deliveries; monitor situation pro-actively to minimize impact for the customer.
Re-schedule or re-route deliveries; balance the needs of the supplier/customer with the needs of the business/SC.
Acts as a main point of contact for suppliers/customers for all customer related queries, including problem solving.
Communicate with Commercial function to manage execution issues and identify cost effective alternatives/options
Collaborates with execution teams in other Bu’s and countries within EMEA for activities related to loading, unloading and settlement of commodity contracts.
May participate in location visits as needed with supervisor/manager and/or team members to ensure efficient execution of commodity contracts (e.g. customers, ports, refineries, elevators, warehouses, local authorities, and service providers).
Data management / documentation:
Responsible to maintain timely and accurate transactional execution data within the data management system as well as all supporting documentation, using basic understanding of trade execution practices and procedures
With direct oversight, coordinate the issuance and dispatch or receipt of shipping documents and ensure that all documents are in line with legal and fiscal requirements, using limited knowledge of trade execution procedures
Responsible for the timely and accurate commodity contract settlement by issuance of commodity sales invoices in line with contractual terms and/or collecting, reviewing and approving vendor invoices for payment.
Performance management / research & analysis:
Creates routine reports related to commodity contract execution in the area of load data capture, contract settlement and execution costs management
May participate in investigation and resolution of execution related customers/suppliers complaints in collaboration with Customer Service team.
University degree or equivalent or relevant experience
1-2 years of relevant work experience in Supply Chain. Contract execution experience preferred
Food/Feed/Agri experience is a plus
Experience in a process driven environment in a plus
