We have an exciting and challenging role within our Food & Dairy business in Gatwick working on the Tesco account. We are looking for an experienced Customer Business Manager to work manage a portfolio of brands on the Tesco account, reporting into the Lead Business Manager.
A day in the life of...
The role has a high level of autonomy and is a good lead into more senior positions. Responsibilities will include:
Develop solid understanding of customer category and brand strategies
Develop and Execute a Customer Business Plan with consideration for longer term Customer direction
Review, monitor and manage gap resolution within Category and with Customer Team
Sell, negotiate and execute Customer Business Plan (in line with agreed principles across other categories within Customer Team)
Feed customer needs into organisation at Category level
Feed into and execute a Customer Contact Strategy, working with the Customer Team, incorporating other functions where appropriate (Field Sales Team, Supply Chain, Category Integration, Finance)
Develop strategies and tactics to deliver sales fundamentals objectives
What Will Make You Successful?
We’re looking for people of graduate calibre who already have a strong understanding of the FMCG landscape. Ideally you will already be operating at a National Account Manager level in your current role, but we may consider outstanding individuals with other Sales experience.
A high performer and be able to evidence your successful impact on commercial performance.
Proven track record of sustained strong performance, and show how you have adapted to changing priorities in that time.
Enjoy a challenge, and have an ambitious, positive “can do” attitude.
Strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness and excellent numeracy skills
Finally, you’ll be used to a high level of autonomy and to networking to achieve results.
