The Category Lead Logistics Services will report to the Head of Sourcing Networks, Managed Services, Site products and Logistics Market Area Europe & Latin America (MELA).

Experience with trade compliance and ISO certification requirements (CIPS or MCIPS certification)
University degree in Economics or Technology or equivalent experience
Preferable: experience in the Telco or IT sector within customer projects The Senior Category Lead Logistics Services will be responsible for the following key priorities: Drives, implements and executes Category Management, Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management for the Logistics Services Category, with the ultimate objective of leveraging and securing Company’s supplier base to support its current and future business requirements, whilst mitigating risks. The Logistic Services Category Manager is accountable for the end to end category performance for the category and for driving and managing multimillion-dollars Sourcing Purchases.
Summary of Key Responsibilities Category Management 1. Develops, implements and drives Category Strategy to deliver cost effective category solutions and business models 2. Supplier base management and supplier classification (Preferred Supplier List – PSL), securing competition in the supplier base 3. Implements ways of working according to Ericsson’s Category Management Framework including the delivery of Category targets and KPI’s for assigned group of spend categories 4. Business Intelligence, benchmarking and supplier market analysis and insight to support category development The Senior Category Lead, with the Category Team, is responsible for securing and tracking costs reduction, contract management and continuity of Sourcing Process.
Strategic Sourcing 5. Prepares and executes the RFx process in collaboration with stakeholders including supplier evaluation and selection, supplier negotiations (costs and contract) 6. Contributes to the long-term business ensuring competitive initial cost and total cost development in the product and service life cycle and maintenance of the specific supplier contract for products and services 7. Proactively develops alternative and/or innovative third party solutions Supplier Relationship Management 8. Segments and manages suppliers (quality, performance, risk) in accordance with Ericsson’s Supplier Relationship Management Framework 9. Monitors and mitigates supplier risks (including CoC, Environmental & Health and Safety as well as dependency on Ericsson and Ericsson dependency on the supplier), makes corrective action plans for the identified risks 10. Develops and implements Supplier Strategies for key suppliers within the Logistics Category
Stakeholders Collaboration and Business Engagement 11. Secures senior and executive stakeholders’ involvement and participation in category strategies, sourcing activities and supplier relationship management activities and shares category strategies, PSL, supplier performance etc…, drives a proactive approach towards stakeholders with the aim or resolving issues before they arise or deliver additional value 12.
