As a global organisation we are able to offer exceptional career development opportunities all around the world and as such we are now seeking an experienced European Freight Coordinator to work within our UK based Supply Chain Team.
A key element of this European Freight Coordinator job role is logistics. You will need to work collaboratively with our outsourced service provider (4PL) and the European transport manager to measure and monitor the cost of KC`s transport activities (including Cross Boarder) and ensure that transport and logistics costs are closely controlled.
As a Freight Coordinator you will be giving direction, support and a collaborative approach to the service provider to deliver the promised benefits to Kimberly Clark in terms of cost savings, service and process improvements. This is a role that has a European responsibility and there is some European travel involved so an additional European language would be a distinct advantage.
You will work very closely with number of internal and external functions and stakeholders many of whom are based in our Brighton office therefore regular travel to Brighton will be required.
Working with a variety of functions, you will be responsible for improving processes which add value to the business and drive out transport costs.
