About the Role
The goal for each distillery site is to revolve around a unique theme that is authentic to the brand stories and enhances the site character and location. The Experience Operations Manager for Malt Brand Homes will be responsible for creating and delivering the strategy to develop our visitor experiences in service of theme, emotional engagement, sustainability, increasing opportunities for revenue and extending the brand connection well beyond the visit for every customer.
You will lead our Malt Brand Homes team of over 100 colleagues across our sites in Scotland in the with a strategic viewpoint toward achieving long term guest service, team member excellence and financial profitability. You will be accountable for delivering the investments into the Malt Brand Homes as part of Destination Scotland, the largest ever investment into Scotch Whisky tourism, including the Four Corner redevelopments of our brand homes.
The Experience Operations Manager will ensure the experiences are run with excellence and the team is inspired and has what they need to achieve our growth ambitions. Ultimately, they will set the tone for visitor engagement, encourage people to discover Scotch whisky, and promote sustainability and responsible drinking with world class experiences.
You will be a true leader and role model with a background in the Visitor Experience sector, preferably having worked internationally. You will ensure our teams are inspired and have everything they need to create engaging experiences for our guests. You will have a proven track record for creating and implementing the strategy to develop world-class experiences to deliver growth in footfall and generate revenue across retail and experiential sectors.
This is the dream job for someone with global commercial management experience, with knowledge of managing budgets and delivering against KPIs. You will demonstrate brand and category knowledge across Spirits and TBA (total beverage alcohol) with experience in process, provenance and identifying trends. Most importantly you will have a customer focussed mindset as our aim is to create memorable and bespoke experiences for our visitors.
