Remain closely in touch with international markets to ensure relevance of product development.
Regularly visit the field and observe competitors to maintain a high knowledge of competitor ranges.
Contribute ideas to product development and challenge ideas from management to drive creativity.
Implement and maintain the GTM process within the department and ensure adherence to GTM timelines and RACI matrix ways of working with the sourcing and merchandising teams.
Ensure target margin is achieved working with the Sourcing team
Working closely with the Design team to produce visuals for the rest of the business; maintaining Range Plan of all products by department.
Liaising with stores to provide product information, improving customer service; communicating new product information to Merchandisers; updating Merchandisers on continuity / phase out products;
Working with wholesale team to set wholesale prices; managing relationships with suppliers.
Reacting appropriately to customer complaints, pre-empting / identifying possible quality control issues and minimizing impact; reviewing seconds; signing off continuity prints with Design team; developing and identifying packaging and establishing price architecture; managing margins by department.
Coordinating all samples for catalogue, showroom, trade fairs, press; sampling / setting up special wholesale only styles.
