The F&B cost controller will play an integral part of the team in producing accurate monthly Gross Profits across all food and beverage across all restaurants within the group.
The F&B cost controller will also be the company expert with full responsibility for the inventory management system.
Responsibilities will include: -
Monitoring of profit to ensure targets are achieved.
Analysing monthly results and recommend opportunities to improve.
Working with group head chefs to achieve monthly food margins.
Management of inventory system relating to food and beverages.
Creation of recipe and menu costing.
Provide ongoing inventory system training.
Process all stock transfers for month end packs.
Work closely with the Buying Teams.
Produce accurate cost and statistical data for management use as required.
Audit month end stock balances each period.
Lead inventory system trial and management of rollout if successful.
Liaise with external auditors as required.
Highly numerate and analytical
Able to challenge constructively
Experience of working in multi-site companies / multi-outlet sites
Strong food and beverage operational knowledge
Excellent internal and external customer relationship and interpersonal skills
Effective written and oral communication skills
IT literate with strong spreadsheet knowledge
Ability to analyse and interpret data
Strong organization and time management skills
Attention to detail and self-motivated
Experience of using inventory management and tills systems
Educated to degree level preferred
Able to deliver at a consistently high level within a demanding, commercial environment
5-7 years experience in a similar role
