As the Category Manager-Logistics, based in our global headquarters in Dublin, you will be responsible of the Supply Chain Procurement for Parcel/Logistics Category. You will cover all aspects of Sourcing and Category Management, Supplier Performance Management and Program Deployment for Eaton Enterprise consisting of some 330 global manufacturing locations spread over North American, EMEA, APAC and Latin America.
Your key deliverables :
Leading all Global RFQ and Tender events through the Procurement life cycle
Developing the end to logistics and business processes, updating/managing the rates/services, and managing suppliers to key performance metrics
Functional leadership for Global Category Team across all Regional and Business team members
Managing all commercial and contract agreements through to signature
The subject matter expert on external Parcel Global Market
Delivering key Supplier management solutions across Category supply base: including all KPI performance, commercial management, customer satisfaction metrics and corrective / optimal action Programs
Leading the profit plan cycle for Parcel Category
Owning the Global Logistics sourcing calendar including Contract Management, Project scheduling and the management of resource availability and tool set utilization
Leading the development of program charter, risk assessments and benefit analysis and all additional aspects of Program management and execution
Managing project timelines, budget delivery, resource management implementation scheduling of Global Projects
Supporting coordination of portfolio of projects within the Global Procurement function and provides functional leadership to category managers, monitoring actions until completion
Facilitating the initial creation and publishing of program charter, project risk assessments, and benefit assessment as well as timeline and work breakdown
Guiding team resources associated with the project, including goal setting and planning of performance / gate reviews
Do you have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Engineering preferable
Previous extensive experience working for a Logistics company in a relevant function such as: Operations or Supply Chain, alternatively Category Management experience for the Logistics category
Strong mentoring, coaching and conflict resolution skills
Excellent analytical skills, ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets
Fluency in English and excellent communication skills required with experience of managing complex projects remotely – across various geographies and cultures
Leadership, Drive for results, change and adaptability as critical soft skills
Strong skills on assessment and organizational diagnosis
Willingness to travel (up to 25%)
