The Global Supply Chain team in Luxembourg has been on a journey to become recognized as a global leader in everything we do. The Global Process Lead (GPL) is responsible for contributing to the Source to Pay vision and strategy. Jointly with Process Leads of Sourcing, Vendor Management, Master Data and Digital SCM Management they will review and prioritise business, process and system change initiatives aligned to the long term process vision and strategy. The GPL will develop and ensure the concept and design of the relevant global process being in line with Vodafone’s requirements, drives us to a next generation process and provides the appropriate level of control.
The GPL works closely together with Business Process Owners defining future processes and drives decision-making on future development. Vodafone has chosen the RAPID accelerated decision-making method and this needs to be used widely by the GPL. In this role you will demonstrate a results-driven leadership style and be a good motivator that is able to clearly translate vision, strategy, and business objectives into compelling plans that enable effective implementation.
The successful candidate will be accountable for devising and ensuring delivery of a multi-year process improvement roadmap which measurably (using internal or external benchmarks) improves the efficiency and effectiveness (including controls) of the process while ensuring smooth adoption of innovative procurement processes across the company. The process improvement roadmap needs to align to the goals of standardisation and compliance as well as generating opportunities for increased SSC penetration, cost savings and increased business user experience. Two key current strategic priorities are Simplicity and Employee Experience and the roadmaps will be required to reflect these goals in line with Digital Strategy of Vodafone.

Provide strategic leadership in the development and evolution of Procurement processes to lead the organization through the process of defining, implementing and documenting innovative business processes and systems
Work closely together with Business Process Owners in the prioritization of strategic directions and collaborate with other Global Process Leads for improvements and standardizations
Drive the monitoring and controlling of effectiveness and efficiency of the end-to-end business process and monitors the performance of both the process and Shared Service Delivery
Ensure compliance of process to policies and drives measures to ensure that relevant compliance requirements are met
Provide a forward-looking vision when designing Source to Pay processes to maintain flexibility and future integration opportunities with familiarity of industry trends / best practices to stimulate creative problem-solving
Builds and sustain strong relationships throughout the business, provides persuasive communication and works as an advocate for SCM Strategy and Procurement processes.
