Are you a qualified accountant/financial professional with extensive experience in group accounting requirements, obtained in a large multinational organisation with significant manufacturing operations and experienced in accounting for complex supply chains? Do you have experience in ensuring processes are running as efficiently as possible, and influencing wider teams to drive process improvements?
Do you want to work as part of a large group accounting and reporting team that plays a central role within the finance function of AstraZeneca?
This role will provide an excellent introduction into the finance organisation at AstraZeneca, requiring a strong internal network to be established quickly.
You will report to the Head of Group Financial Reporting and work closely with the Head of Technical Accounting and Consolidation (HTA&C) and will be responsible for a small specialist team who have accountability and oversight for ensuring the accuracy of the calculation for the Provision for Unrealised Profit in Stock (PURP) using a specialised tool called Global Value Chain, and ensuring the global processes and data inputs on which the accuracy of the PURP is highly dependent, operate efficiently and with minimal errors.
