“Global Supply Chain Director – New Business Models” role’s purpose is about understanding what these new supply chain business models are and then being able to work out how to scale this into our business from a supply chain infrastructure point of view. Hence, we get the best from these innovative consumer approaches with new supply chain business models.
Ensuring to deliver growth through new consumer channels while strategically moving the supply chain business model from Logistics to Consumer Fulfilment.
Building new supply chain business models, changing how we service customers – increase in direct-to-consumer
Utilising E-Commerce and Direct to Consumers capabilities – Systems (Order to cash fully connected tor real time data from consumers and customers) and Logistics for hyper fragmented consumers and customers base with affordable last mile. Learning from our acquisitions as Dollar Shave Club, 7 Gen and others.
Creating New Logistics models leveraging the Shared Economy and Asset light strategy
Working in a flexible and agile way, bringing compact teams of people together who can solve the problems that need to be implemented whilst understanding the big picture – analytical, structured, able to work with peers to find new ways to solve old problems; delivering through others.
Accessing and managing dedicated resources required (e.g. freelancers through Upwork) when each project is defined
Successful track record & solid experience in E-Retail Channels & New Supply Chain Models
