The Role:
This role is pivotal with in the Global Supply Chain performance team, providing the team with data and analysis, and supporting the Supply Chain Leadership Team. The role interacts with cluster teams across the world, at all levels. It is highly visible to multiple senior leaders across Finance and the Supply Chain and is a platform to build a strong global network. It provides a unique opportunity for an experienced accountant to gain a deep understanding of the global supply chain and the financial choices across its full end-to-end scope. As well as driving in-year target delivery, the role is critical enabling the Global Supply Chain performance team to manage performance. The role reports to the Global Supply Chain Performance Manager and is a key member of the Corporate Supply Chain Finance team, working closely with peers across all Divisions and Clusters.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Management:
Integral to the global performance management process for the Supply Chain, covering all aspects of performance (both financial and non-financial) and engaging with a wide group of Supply Chain Leaders across Clusters, Categories and Functions. Responsibility for driving the monthly performance management cycle, including:
- Providing monthly reporting and analysis for Gross Margin across Total Unilever
- Preparation of monthly summary flash report to Global Supply Chain Leaders on Total Unilever Gross Margin
- Ad hoc analysis and reporting
- Development & preparation of key Supply Chain performance management information for all clusters and divisions
- Pivotal in Total Unilever Targeting
- Participating in Quarterly performance reviews with each of the Supply Chain Divisional teams
- Ownership of the budgetary control and targeting framework for Supply Chain Overheads globally
- Contact for Finance with global expertise teams for Inventory, Service, Quality, Safety

Key Skills / Experience:
- Proven track record of being effective in a complex operating environment and driving business performance
- Experience with MIS systems, Power BI, expert Excel skills
- Strong communication and influencing skills; change management
- Objectivity and integrity in the face of challenge; courage and personal resilience
- Ability to build networks and manage multiple senior stakeholders
- Understanding or ability to quickly grasp financial principles in the end-to-end Supply Chain, identify and drive relevant value-creating choices and decisions
- Driving efficiency and effectiveness in the performance management cycle, working with Supply Chain, Supply Chain Finance and ETS
