As the Gourmet and Distribution Director, you will be responsible for:
Creating and defining the vision & strategy, setting long-term goals for global Gourmet and Distribution that will drive highly significant business/financial impact. This include gourmet business, industrial distribution and large foodservice
Defining possible investments and possible MADJV activities in cooperation with our global strategy manager and business development manager.
Developing and implementing the product portfolio for Gourmet, including, market analysis, development of the customer promise. he/she leads and coordinates product innovation There is a strong cooperation with the Commercial Marketing Manager Gourmet, who is responsible to deliver and develop the brands (incl positioning, brand value propositions and creative content for communication), the innovations and activations to the markets
Implementing the business strategy, build relevant distribution relationships and build a high performing team to serve this market. This position needs to create speed, work transformational, get fast pace growth in highly ambiguous environment.
You will define and execute the gourmet and distribution strategy including investments and possible MADJV with support of sales, marketing, PLM, strategy team.
You will be responsible for brand management which includes co-developing a global Gourmet branded portfolio strategy and Delivering global commercial Gourmet management plan and manage brands
You will develop the customer promise for Gourmet and distribution
You will lead product innovation (innovations include new products, applications, labels, packaging, size etc.) and manage product portfolio
You will be responsible for people management of the people in the team, including retention, performance management and engagement of the team.
Master’s degree and minimum 10 years of relevant working experience
Minimum 4 years of experience in food, food management or retail industry
Strong strategic view & vision
Customer insight, able to quickly build and maintain
Able to bring clarity in details (customer promise)
Strong in internal and external stakeholder management
Great communication skills
Inspiring and building high performing teams
Structured and practical/pragmatic

Experienced in working with/through international distributors is an advantage
Previous marketing experience is an advantage
