As part of this commitment, our Dutch Home Care Category team is hiring a strategic, experienced, driven, motivated and highly capable Home CareDigital Category Leader. In this role you have have a team of two direct reports (HC Ecomm Manager and HC Digital Content Manager).
Main Job purpose
You will own and shape the digital agenda for the Home Care category in the Netherlands, ensuring fit with the underlying brand ambitions, translate the strategies into actionable plans and execute flawlessly with your team. As the expert in your field you are empowered to make decisions on Digital initiatives and the corresponding budget allocations, experiment with new ideas and demonstrable tangible Consumer and business benefit. The impact of your actions will be clear and will create a repeatable approach for the rest of the business. Your responsibility revolves around 4 key themes:
The definition of digital consumer journeys and data driven digital strategy (data by design)
Relentless focus on driving precision and performance communication to the people we serve
Creating and driving excellence in consumer experience through all digital touchpoints
A champion and catalyst to drive data & eCommerce first mindset within Home Care
You will be playing a pivotal role in developing our Precision Marketing agenda, leveraging consumer data and technology to identify relevant and actionable audiences and develop tailored & memorable digital experiences.
For this role we are seeking a strategic thinker, team player and a flawless executor with 5+ years’ experience in the digital marketing industry, either client-side or agency.
Craft and implement an ambitious digital and data strategy for our portfolio of Home Care brands and ensuring relevance to our consumers’ needs as well as business and local market context.
Working with a cross functional team of eCommerce, (performance) marketing, content production and analytics to drive digital brand planning, consumer journeys, audience definition for precision marketing, acquisition and use of data.
Driving the digital execution with excellent consumer experience full funnel from awareness to conversation and retention across end to end consumer journey.
Owns and implements the category & brands search strategy by defining channel focus, content territories, content gaps and technical optimisation.
Support to develop brand content ecosystems, aligning content needs with brand champion and U-studios, covering owned platforms, digital media & eCommerce
Owns digital agencies relationships (property maintenance, development, search, digital strategy) and manages briefing and workstreams to land brands objectives
Focus on Consumer Experience Excellence across all touchpoints (from site UX, load times, data capture & contact strategy to social engagement)
Evangelising a digital mindset including driving the adoption of data-driven, performance culture, experimentation, learning and iteration through upskilling of the broader HC team.
Driving the adoption of key digital tools and capabilities that are being rolled out across the business across Content, Media, eCommerce and data marketing
And via the above of course: delivering business growth aligned with set KPIs.
This role is suitable for a pro-active person with demonstrated digital experience of 5+ years in a FMCG or Retail landscape. The right candidate will be able to demonstrate a wide range of capabilities and attributes, including:
Strong understanding of Consumer Journey mapping and Consumer Experience management, activating reach / engagement opportunities and driving conversion across key touch-points.
A track record of developing & executing digital strategies, designing and deploying campaigns, testing and optimizing.
Cross-discipline digital knowledge including but not limited to Social and Search, UX, eCRM, Acquisition and retention marketing and appreciation of emerging technology including voice and AI.
Capable to manage stakeholders at all levels within and outside the company
This Role is for you if you have:
You are capable of communicating with impact & across different levels across the organization and be able to influence the organization as a performance marketing ambassador
Practical, cross-platform knowledge of data-driven marketing; Confident understanding of marketing and analytics packages e.g. Google Analytics, Programmatic, relationship marketing. Knowledge of Adobe Suite would be preferable.
