Our client has several hundred contracts that have been identified through a remediation initiative as part of the changes being brought in by GDPR.
We would like to hear from Procurement contractors who have recent experience of contract negotiation involving GDPR.
You must be able to follow and document processes (regulated environment) so the more Financial Services experience the better.
Although the office location is in Dorset, you can work from home at least two days each week; Mondays and Fridays. Typically, the team are in the office Tuesday to Thursday. There are a number of Contractors who work to this schedule in Procurement (and other functions). Most tend to stay over for one or two nights each week.
The client will have one interim resource dedicated to IT contracts and another focussing on the Non-IT (Business Services e.g. HR, PS, Property, Marketing etc.). Then, another floating between the two teams.
The main focus of all roles is establishing the data flows with the stakeholders/internal business and then renegotiating the relevant suppler contracts accordingly. In many cases it won't be a simple straight forward amendment or addition of a clause (s). It will in many instances be fairly complex and, therefore, your contract negotiation skills, knowledge and experience will be really key.
Initial 6 months contract. Start ASAP
Day rate circa £500. Possibly £525 per day
Flexibility and home-working e.g. 2/3 (or 3/2 once settled) days each week subject to workload.
