For over a 100 years, Boeing has been making the impossible, possible. From producing a single canvas-and-wood airplane to transforming how we fly over oceans and into the stars, Boeing has become the world's largest aerospace
company. And we're just getting started; especially in the UK.
The partnership between Boeing and the UK dates back to the 1930’s and continues to get stronger and deeper, with UK jobs, skills and opportunities being constantly generated to support major UK programmes such as Apache, Chinook, C-17, P-8, ScanEagle, Support Chain Information Services, Government Services and Staffordshire Police, to mention a few.
An opportunity has arisen within the Boeing Defence UK Aircraft Support TLCS programme working in the Supply Chain (SC) Demand Forecasting and Analysis team. This role will be responsible for demand forecasting accuracy for all relevant aircraft parts to ensure the timely provision of the correct aircraft parts to support the availability of the UK fleet of Chinook aircraft within tight budget constraints. This role will also work on new programs and projects to ensure cost and materials forecasting accuracy for proposed new work. Using industry leading demand forecasting software this role will tasked with improving and refining forecast accuracy and demonstrably reducing costs throughout the Boeing and MoD supply chains.
The successful candidate does not have to have specific inventory modelling experience, but needs to be a bright, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with strong analytical skills that is ready to start a career within Boeing and the TLCS team. It may well suit a recent graduate.
