As you negotiate with, and manage, suppliers and identify cost effective sourcing routes, you’ll help us to deliver on a mission that matters: helping our customers to live well for less. After all, customers are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll help make sure we do the right things.
With guidance from one of our expert Buyers, you’ll define and carry out the sourcing and selection strategy for a group of non-food products. Getting a fair price for customers is key, so negotiation will be an important part of your job. But there’s plenty more to it. Working closely with the Junior Merchandiser, you’ll help to develop joint business plans with suppliers. Together with the Merchandising team, you’ll make sure we buy the right mix of good, better and best products, in the right amounts. And you’ll help us to achieve our targets for pricing and promotion.
