Junior Procurement Controlling & Analytics
ABOUT THE TEAM
As ‘Junior Procurement Controlling & Analytics’, you will be part of the team that is responsible for the controlling, reporting, analytics and governance activities within Indirect Procurement („InPro“). InPro is responsible to procure all non-merchandising („indirect“) goods and services for the Zalando Group. Our aim is to become a data-driven and customer-oriented organization to deliver value to Zalando.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
Strong analytical skills to support the team with data analytics, savings controlling, reporting and preparation for fact-based negotiations („fly high and dive deep“)
Clear communication and stakeholder management to understand the procurement organization needs related to data, information, market intelligence and reporting („solve problems that matter“)
Apply all available technologies for the continuous digitization of our reporting landscape. Help us get to the next level in terms of advanced analytics and report automation („always put yourself in your customer's shoes“).
Measure our contribution and impact linked to our objectives and targets. Bring additional out-of-the-box ideas to improve our processes continuously and participate in various projects („make us better not bigger“)
Highly motivated, hands-on and enthusiastic professional. Be a role model and live Zalando values and principles everyday („be your team‘s biggest fan“)
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience (>2 years) in business consulting, finance, procurement and/or supply chain, ideally with strong analytics, data engineering and/or computer-science background. Ability to translate complex data or information into easy to understand measurable KPIs/metrics and track continuous improvement actions
Strong interest and experience in advanced data analytics, process mining, business intelligence and technology (e.g. Celonis, Asana, Signavio, SAP Cloud Analytics and/or others).
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (German language is a plus). Great organizational skills, customer-oriented, proactive attitude, hands-on mindset, results-driven, team player, change driver and a collaborative approach when solving problems
Knowledge of procurement processes and tools is a plus (e.g Coupa, SAP Ariba or other)
