Logistics Data Analyst Planner
Would you like to work on the world’s largest defence programmes, the manufacturing of F-35 Military Aircraft? We currently have a vacancy for a Logistics Data Analyst Planner at our site in Samlesbury.
As a Logistics Data Analyst Planner, you will be you will be responsible for the design and implementation of effective reports and controls (self-service and automated) for all phases of activity within Logistics.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work in a world class Manufacturing facility at the cutting edge of Aerospace Design. Your main responsibilities as a Logistics Data Analyst Planner will involve:
Providing subject matter expertise on Performance Dashboards and Carriage reporting
Designing and implementing effective reports and controls (self-service and automated) for all phases of activity within Logistics
Providing ad-hoc analysis for Logistics Leads as and when required
Interacting with stakeholders throughout the business to discuss and fully understand existing and future business processes and opportunities
Identifying connected and relevant sources of data (operational/trend) and extracting, cleansing, transforming, analysing and present information
Building strong relationships with and influencing internal stakeholders to drive operational performance
Providing critical high & low-level operational reports that drive daily production decisions and engagement within Logistics with key site leaders
Your skills and qualifications:
Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, with experience in complex and large scale data analysis, including advanced formulae
Experience with both writing and understanding VBA, utilising it to increase automation in processes (Macros)
Able to use pivot tables to affectively present data to various stakeholders
Proficient in Advanced charting and power point
Experience of working with a Manufacturing / Supply Chain organisation (FMCG preferable but not essential)
Experience of MRP / ERP system (BaaN / Infor LN)
In addition, experience in applying tools and techniques (Use of Microsoft Offices packages
Visual representation of kit status, Line of Balance, key shortages) and general office/administrative/clerical experience is also required
