Our client, a world-renowned media Distribution company based in Central London is recruiting a Market Analyst for their international department.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Marketing Information Manager and all members of the international team to develop and deliver analysis that is critical for decision making.
Principal accountabilities will include regular reporting on consumer behaviour and general performance to senior management, the production of detailed information packs for international events and overseas trips, and the on-going development and maintenance of territory-level retail databases. The role will encompass a full grounding in all the department’s key systems and processes to develop the individual’s wider export knowledge and further their understanding of the reporting function.
As well as strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail, the position will require excellent communication skills and the ability to discuss or present analytical findings in a clear and informative style.
You will be educated to degree level or have a proven track record in data analysis. You will have a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft packages and an advanced knowledge of Excel in particular. Business Objects skills would be an advantage but are not essential. You must be highly numerate and be able to clearly demonstrate a strong analytical background, ideally with some experience in a similar role.
Key Skills required:
- Strong analytical skills – used to working with large data sets.
- At least a year’s analysis experience.
- Advanced Excel and good knowledge of MS Office in general.
- Educated to degree level.
- Knowledge of Business Objects would be beneficial but not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Great eye for detail.
Salary in the region of £24,000 - £25,000 + additional benefits for the right applicant. In addition, the company is offering excellent working conditions in a prime area of London!
