Master Data Specialist is a member of the CCC supply chain organization and contributes to the success of the SC Planning area in specific. Supervise and optimize Master Data creation and maintenance for supply chain owned master data.
Provide analytical and business expertise, to identify efficiencies and savings in the supply chain organization, support improvement initiatives, and help facilitate the delivery of the supply chain KPI’s and objectives.
Both within the current IT-environment, and actively involved in taking next steps towards using more advanced digitalization tools to move to more system-driven and less manual or excel-driven processes.
Acts as a secondary Back-up; all-round planning support (unscheduled back-up required, e.g. ATP)
30% Supervise and optimize Master Data creation and maintenance for supply chain owned master data (item creation, etc.):
Responsible for handling new or updated Master Data request for A-Force and related to A-Force systems related to item set-up and Customer Requirements.
Responsible for executing Master Data sanity checks and update accordingly (Data cleansing: Regularly review data for deficiencies, errors and incompatibility and develop processes and tools (reports) in order to allow users themselves to do this) (Data Quality: internal consistency within data (one set of numbers, single source of truth), regardless of fitness for use for any particular purpose).
Accountable for correctly executing of Master Data requests by Master Data Analyst or others.
Support set up and maintenance of clear and easily accessible documentation and work instructions on creation/update of master data.
Keep the overview of where data is or should be stored and how different domain data interacts and influences other domains.
Look for secured solutions that anticipate on risk of future data conflicts.

20% Project Support
Provide data support to Projects. Supporting Projects on (Master) Data (Act as skilled support specialist to chocolate business to ensure data management governance, processes, reporting and system support. Tracks and processes requirements and prioritizes them ensuring alignment with stakeholders across the functions.)
30 % Functional support on Master Data Supply Chain
Support other stakeholders in PLM, Sales, SC, OPS, CD on when to create new articles when ‘variances’ on existing articles enter our business.
Provide data support for functional teams. Supporting functional teams on (Master) Data (Act as skilled support specialist to cocoa supply chain business to ensure data management governance, processes, reporting and system support. Tracks and processes requirements and prioritizes them ensuring alignment with stakeholders across the functions.)
Data Quality Support: support functions on internal consistency within data (one set of numbers, single source of truth), regardless of fitness for use for any particular purpose. Including data in A-force vs BPS vs Quotlate vs peripherical tools.
20% BO User/Support:
Be the business support for BO. Understand and if needed challenge RFC’s and help to translate into clear projects with well-defined deliverables.
Education, Experience, Skills
Minimum Required Qualifications
Fluent in local language (Dutch) and good level of English (verbal and written)
Good understanding of master data set-up in a Supply Chain organization
Relevant Experience in master data set-up/maintenance
Hands-on problem solver with “can-do” mentality
Analytically strong, good with numbers and highly complex calculations
Advanced understanding of tools & systems supporting Supply Chain processes
PC literate (e.g. MS Office Suite) and advanced Excel skills
Bachelor’s degree in areas of Supply Chain Management or Logistics
Fluent in local language (Dutch) and English, plus good level of third relevant language (verbal and written)
Excellent understanding of supply chain planning practices/procedures and logistics processes
> 4 years of experience in supply chain role
Analytically very strong, excellent with numbers and highly complex calculations
Passion for tools & systems supporting production planning processes
