You will be responsible for all supply chain planning operations
You will guide the supply planners in all locations and setting priorities for the short-, mid- and long-term horizon
You will be responsible for process development, planning & execution
You will interact with customers and close business partnerships
You will support systems/data management, reporting & analysis
You will support people, talent & budget management
You will manage the supply and demand for next 2-3 months horizon by generating a weekly production plan (MTP mid-term plan) that fulfils orders, sales forecasts and stock requirements through optimum utilization of all relevant production and grind channels
You will create the long-term S&OP plan (24 months) together with the S&OP manager to balance S/D for the product groups incl. grind and proposing actions and improvement opportunities
You will identify sales and capacity opportunities or shortages and proposes solutions together with the commercial and manufacturing managers
You will be responsible for managing the supply chain for all concerned product groups in all sites with medium-high impact on working capital, and medium-long term outlook.
You will be travelling max 20% of your working time.
Secondary or higher education level. University grade preferred
Fluent in local language and English (verbal and written)
Several years of experience in production planning environment
Excellent communication skills towards peers or higher management mainly within the Supply chain team but also with manufacturing, commercial & sales management.
Ability to adopt change within the organisation
Computer literacy (MS Office functions: excel/word/access and ERP systems).
Broad and accurate knowledge of supply chain processes (MRP, OMS, S&OP etc…).
Very good understanding of production processes, for his/her specific production channels.
Good knowledge of product ranges and customer applications.
Ability to set priorities and organise his/her work.
