The Operations Development Program (ODP) is an early career talent program focused on developing future Baxter leaders with a strong foundation in Baxter plant operations. Comprised of 4 six-month assignments in Europe, rotations are designed to provide associates with a well-rounded view of Baxter’s Supply Chain processes and systems. The ODP Associate will gain valuable experience including but not limited to Customer Service, Warehouse & Distribution, Demand Planning, Capacity Planning & Sales&Marketing.
Associates are responsible for learning and understanding all aspects of rotational assignment which encompass the full end-to-end supply chain cycle, such as:
The first year rotation will be in Lessines, Belgium, where Baxter has its largest European Distribution Centre, as well as other supply chain areas of expertise.
The incumbent will become skillful in a broad range of Operations responsibilities such as:
Bachelor’s degree in operations, supply chain, engineering, business administration. Master’s degree preferred.
Excellent academic standing and track record.
Excellent knowledge of English and at least one additional European language. Knowledge of French is a major plus.
One to three years prior work experience in medical device or pharma industry preferred; or minimally, relevant co-op or internship experience required.
