Position Purpose & Summary
The Resource Supervisor is responsible for providing team leadership & organization to deliver a range of different size and complexity application projects, monitoring progress and results. The Resource Supervisor for the Commercial, Operations & Supply Chain team is responsible for ensuring deployment and project delivery execution for their assigned Process Area (Commercial, Operations & Finance) for SAP, JDE (AForce) & legacy ERP Applications. This position is responsible for ensuring a consistent approach (through utilization of Cargill SAP standardized deployment & delivery methodologies) and solution for their Major Process Area(s) and to minimize the customization to the overall solution to meet local needs. This position will partner with other regional Business Analyst teams, Design, Build & Test Teams (DBT for global owned Applications), the Applications Enablement team, the PMO and Business/Function partners to ensure successful delivery of small to complex projects that meet business expectations and are executed within project timelines and budgets.
This position will provide leadership and manage a team of Business Analysts and will be responsible for project resource estimation for scheduling, planning and allocation for effective project delivery, ensuring that the supply pipeline matches the demand for the application portfolio (SAP, JDE - AForce & legacy ERP applications). This position will be responsible for appropriate project resourcing and to maintain resource levels according to a demand-driven delivery organization, flexing up and down as needed to execute projects by their required start date.
The Resource Supervisor for the Commercial, Operations & Supply Chain team will drive the results of their Business Analyst teams, and proactively identify risks and resolve problems. This position will specifically oversee all Commercial, Operations (OPs) & supply chain Solutions within SAP, JDE – Aforce & legacy ERP applications which support and enable Cargill’s customer services, plant operation, planning & scheduling, transportation & supply chain execution, shop floor integration and indirect purchasing processes for business units. This position would also collaborate and help support operations related activities within the other process areas

Supervise the team and ensure proper team management as per Cargill’s processes including talent development
Provides direct supervision, performance reviews, mentoring, coaching, and development planning for a team of Business Analysts.
Executes all Cargill defined talent management processes for their group
Accountable for the selection of employees and other staff, determines resource needs, plans for future workforce needs

Support, encourage and facilitate collaboration and Communication between teams
Responsible for maintaining the capacity of Business Analysts through recruiting, retention and full engagement of the team. Engages with contractor/vendor management teams to augment capacity where needed.

Ensure that the depth and breadth of knowledge of the assigned applications area is maintained to provide appropriate support in the enablement of technology solutions.
Resource Planning & Scheduling
Participates in demand initiation & intake with business stakeholders, BRMs & PMI
Supports Project Managers in determining resource requirements & staffing their projects
Verifies actual work performed including reviewing and reconciling invoices and time sheets
Handles issues and risks associated with contractor management
Ensures estimation is completed for projects and small works assigned to the team
Assigns resources to projects and small works to ensure timely execution and effective resource utilization
Develops resource plans to satisfy long term view of demand
Works with stakeholders to ensure that demand is accurate and that expectations around project delivery are met
Manages supply of resources to match agreed demand in pipeline, including initiating hiring of external resources (flex)
Process & functional leadership for project delivery
Provides content leadership in the Commercial, Supply Chain & Operations solution area for small works and projects on scoping, implementation approach & footprint for implementation
Supports functional leads and business analysts with broad expertise in the commercial, supply chain and operations areas in process design and change management
Ensures adherence to implementation processes, both in small works as well as in project delivery and drives consistency across business and instances in predeployment and deployment approach
Participates in improvement initiatives to optimize (pre)deployment and implementation processes
Partner with PMO, BRM, Service manager, DBT and other teams / portfolios to manage project and small works delivery as an end to end process
Ensures that delivery of projects is according to expectations and within performance metrics of scope/quality/time/ budget.
Supports and provides solution architecture best practices for assigned local ERP solutions
Partner with the Service Delivery Advisor in managing the relation with external service providers, i.e. on change work (small works / projects)
Advocates the E2E service delivery model & acts as an escalation point in the support process
Support the Service Delivery Advisor in managing the E2E service towards to customer, i.e. the business
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Management Information Systems; OR equivalent experience
8 years business or IT experience with diverse operational, delivery / deployment and technology roles
Prior leadership experience, either direct supervisory experience or leading significant work activities within a matrixed reporting structure
