Manage the day to day activities in Procurement for the countries you are responsible for (Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Czech Rep, Russia)
Responsibility for the following:
Requisition of PO process and liasing with vendors
Manage daily queries and requirements of internal customers
Manage open PO’s and ensure that dates are current
Manage vendor performance and escalate issues to Strategic Buyers (based in Germany)
Education of internal customers and vendors
Manage the acquisition process for new companies
Control invoice issues, ensure quick turnaround
Partner with Strategic Buyers and finance to identify administrative issues and areas for improvement.
The team resolves the issues
The team develops and implements solutions that prevent the issue from occurring again.
English and German speaker Professional provencance: procurement (this is the ideal solution), or finance/ AP/ Customer Services areas Personal skills: Curiosity and communication, capability to work in a cross country team Symantec internal resources are more than welcomed
