Join us as an Operational Procurement Manager
An Operational Procurement Manager is responsible for providing a professional operational leadership role to SER Fleet Maintenance & Spares Business areas conducting procurement and supply chain processes.
Key responsibilities and challenges:
Drive Operational Procurement team performance via established / additional KPIs. Devise & implement standardised procurement processes across Fleet Maintenance & Spares Businesses.
Share best practice procurement processes between Derby & rest of UKSEAASA
Develop relationship with senior project leaders/ depot materials teams and review procurement service levels to internal customers.
Lead ad-hoc projects in relation to the Ops Procurement team (e.g. supplier portal implementation,
SAP Cbom pricing solutions, integrated supply-chain redesign etc)
Investigate and deploy automated transaction solutions to reduce manual workload in Ops
Procurement team (e.g. admin time, auto preq conversion, document email solutions etc.).
