The Supply Chain Manager owns all aspects of the supply-chain set-up, performance and organization for the affiliate. (S)he oversees End to End supply chain operations within the affiliate: order management and customer service, execution planning (Demand and Supply Planning on the short term), physical distribution and QHSE. (S)he also owns the supply chain aspects of the collaboration with distributors and retailers, ensuring implementation of best practices in service and inventory management with them in order to grow the business. Key member of the affiliate’s leadership team, he/she provides vision, input, solutions to supply chain questions, and work with relevant partners in the Regional office to anticipate future needs.
The scope of the role includes ownership and management of following processes for the affiliate:

Customer Collaboration
The Supply Chain Manager:
Provides the necessary leadership and strategic and tactical input to ensure operations are managed within defined KPIs, budgetary parameters and delivery performance agreements
Owns the supply chain aspects of the collaboration with distributors and retailers in the affiliate, implement and then own Collaboration reviews to ensure best practices in service & inventory management are followed
Owns continuous improvement program to ensure processes are more efficient or adapted to new business needs, lead implementation of regional or global transformation projects in his affiliate
Is responsible for budget elaboration and control on his areas
Customer Service Operations/ Order Management/ Customer Collaboration
Manages and supports the Customer Service Dept in the execution of their daily tasks (order processing, returns, complaints, etc.)
Builds strong relationship with Key Retailers together with the Key Account in order to drive retailer satisfaction and improve service level (order process, catalog alignment, product availability). Use monthly/quarterly meetings with Key Retailers to exchange and discuss KPI’s.
Serves as the point of contact for solving escalated higher-level challenges with internal (Brands, Sales, Finance, Warehouse, Order Management, etc.) and external stakeholders (Retailers, Forwarder)
Execution Planning
Manages and supports the execution planners in the execution of their daily tasks: demand tracking and sensing, facilitation of excess reviews and action plans, securing short-term product availability for the affiliate, facilitation of weekly operations review with affiliate brand team
Owns Fill rate & CS communications and gap solving within the affiliate
Integrated Business Planning
Facilitate Affiliate Consensus & Gap management meeting leading to Operational plan (0-12mo) approval
Collaborate with regional Demand and supply teams in the achievement of IBP goals
Quality
Health, Safety & Environment
Ensure policies on Environment, Health and Safety are implemented
Conduct regular unannounced audits on safety in the Office premises to ensure safety compliance and adherence
Organization & People Development
The affiliate supply chain lead is responsible for recruiting, training and developing a team of supply chain professionals working on the above processes.
Establish a sound organizational structure that supports the Business needs and meets its expectations
Provide leadership, direction and coaching to supply chain personnel
Ensure that strengths and skills of personnel are developed; monitor training with further coaching and counseling as needed (skillset assessment, developmental plans, monitoring and tracking of progress via HR KPIs…)
