MAIN JOB PURPOSE
The Order to Cash Manager is a key leadership role in the Supply Chain Function. Working with Sales, Finance, Logistics, Planning and Customer Service teams, you will be responsible to develop and implement the Order to Cash strategy for Unilever UK and Ireland.
It is an exciting and challenging role, leading and motivating a medium sized Sales Order Operations and Credit Control team. You will be accountable for deploying current global best practices, maintaining excellent process rigour and control, whilst driving transformational initiatives to achieve even greater efficiency and customer satisfaction in the future.
Provide vision and leadership to the team.
Coach and support team leaders to manage the performance and development of their direct reports.
Ensure business continuity and auditable operational and financial control in a highly operational environment by fully understanding the processes and leading risk mitigation activities.
Drive "best in industry" interaction with customers.
Provide clear and concise management information and insight to senior stakeholders
Champion the continuous improvement of processes and skills to deliver stretching targets on Casefill and Cash Flow.
Own the definition and hold others accountable for the Order to Cash Service Level Agreements and KPIs, driving the right behaviours and consistently achieving targets on turnaround time, receivables and customer satisfaction KPIs.
Be a change catalyst, proposing and developing new ideas and opportunities to be leading edge in the industry on our Order to Cash processes.
University degree level or relevant experience
Strong Microsoft Office knowledge including Excel
Demonstrative experience in a management role within Supply Chain, CD Operations or Finance managing multiple asks to tight deadlines.
Evidence of successfully delivering change in an operational envronment.
Customer facing relationship management
Experience in managing complex work portfolio/category
CIMA or ACCA qualification desirable but not essential
Must be a strong communicator (verbal and written)
Able to be a connector of people
Strong in project and time management
Excellent presentation skills (creation and delivery)
Stakeholder management (people skills)
Passion and practical creativity
Ability to take initiative
