A fantastic opportunity is available for a Planner Vendor Scheduler to join our Planning and Logistics Team on our Hull site, on a fixed term contract for 12 months.
The role will involve producing production plans for a given group of production lines\resources to deliver excellent service to our customers, whilst optimising factory efficiencies. In addition, working closely with suppliers to ensure raw material and component availability and optimal stockholding.
Produce and administer a sequenced weekly production plan
Produce an optimised medium term manufacturing plan (13 weeks)
Tailor all plans to consider available capacity, line efficiency and cost
Identify and plan stock-builds as required (e.g. regulatory, capacity)
Liaise with Customer services\Commercial Units to understand and meet market needs
Communicate component & raw material requirements to suppliers to ensure on time delivery whilst considering cost and WH impact

Is this You?
Experienced in Planning / Procurement, ideally in a FMCG environment
Have detailed knowledge of planning processes and detailed knowledge of MRP process & systems
Possess excellent Excel skills
Can commit to a 12-month Fixed Term Contract and hit the ground running
Experience of problem solving and managing a changing environment in a proactive manner
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
A positive approach to work and a passion for your role
