You will be responsible for the ongoing optimization in the Supply Chain area (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Transportation/Logistics, Customer Service) within CSST (Cargill Starches, Sweeteners and Texturizers) Europe, much of which is enabled by the SAP and IBP solutions.
One primary focus is on leading value realization projects and process improvements, which involves process, people/behaviors, roles/responsibilities, culture, strategy, and systems/data in the Supply Chain area.
The second primary purpose is analytical tools leveraging the data we have across product lines.
All is meant to be leveraged across CSST globally. This is done through collaboration within CSST-E, with our value chain partner businesses (CSST globally, APAC, etc.), with BOSC, with Global IT, through leveraging best practices with other businesses, and through bringing the outside in. As many team projects are cross-functional and based on business impact, it’s expected to work on efforts outside of immediate area as needed.
You will identify, lead, and drive optimization activities in the Supply Chain area to drive value and data/process consistency, collaborating with subject matter experts and leadership across the business; these include analytic tools. The work will be defined and prioritized on an ongoing basis. Ensure organizational readiness and commitment to ongoing optimization. Implement metrics to track value captured through optimization initiatives and to ensure the sustainment and performance of the Supply Chain process area. Drive continuous improvement and creation/execution of action plans where metrics and analytics indicate need. An example is the supply chain dashboard, with metrics such as OTIF, performance to plan, and forecast accuracy. With key business and function stakeholders, this role is responsible to:
Define problem/opportunity statement and associated value (for prioritization and alignment)
Determine requirements and align on metric definition
Determine visualization for iterations in analytics tool
Address any data or process changes needed
Create analytic tool (may leverage other resources)
Deploy to user community, ensuring user adoption via strong change management
Ensure understanding of and drive resulting actions, accountability to achieving these, and sustainment
All to be completed with the goal of process, data, and analytics consistency (where possible) at a CSST global level.
You will lead ongoing enhancements, upgrades, and deployment activities, system integration from potential M&A activity, and organic growth projects. Ensure functionality is appropriately tested and trained. After super-users, next point of escalation for assistance related to overall SAP and IBP functionality in the Supply Chain space.
