Following the merger of 2 major organisations within their field, our client is the largest of its kind within Europe, and a leading manufacturer of sustainable and energy efficient products with over 150 manufacturing sites.
They are now looking for a Process Manager to help them move the business forward and create a “best in class”, consistent Supply Chain function within their PMO team.
You will need to have proven experience within the supply chain environment before having been heavily involved in project management, transformations or process improvement with a Global Manufacturing organisation, and be comfortable working in a fluid, fast paced, new and changing environment.
Managing change and implementing processes as well as project managing a new ERP system will be a key part of this role (this is at very early stages), and something you will have demonstrable experience of doing successfully. You will be given the opportunity to drive improvements and have a more hollistic and broader view of the overall supply chain fuction working with both group and regional colleagues.
You will also need to have excellent influencing skills to enable you to gather information and get under the skin of the business. You will be comfortable working with senior colleagues from different cultures, enabling you to drive a consistent approach across different regions.
Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment is an absolute must.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
Provide direction and guidance to the functional business owners to define and implement standardized processes, in accordance with industry best practices
Be a key stakeholder in the ERP implementation project, in addition to other technology projects focused on business process automation
Responsible for the plan-to-full (production planning, manufacturing processes, supply chain and reporting) end to end process
Work closely with functional business owners, IT project managers and senior management across the organization
Subject matter expert within supply change management and manufacturing operations
Participate in the development of the business process methodology across the organization
Analyse business requirements and define best practices for specific processes
Qualifications and Experience:
Strong project management skills – demonstrated success in project execution and experience leading large scale projects across divisions and functions; global experience preferred
Experience operating within a multinational manufacturing company – keen appreciation for the requirements of various internal and external stakeholders
Experience from a functional role in larger supply chain organisation
Technical capacity – comprehension of cross functional processes and holistic understanding of the organisation
Strong analytical skills
Excellent people skills and leadership experience – adept manager of large teams/department with ability to manage scarce resources and conflicts
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management or Engineering preferred
