Working for Cargill’s European poultry business, which is a leading supplier of food products to retail, foods service and food manufacturing customers, in both European and global markets. The role could be situated at either our newly opening Worcester offices or our Wolverhampton offices.
The position holder will be responsible for the Material Replenishment Planning (MRP) for all materials and creating Purchase orders in SAP. This role will involve building and maintaining a good working relationship with suppliers and Cargill accounts payable, within our Cargill Business Services function. The position holder will also take ownership of blocked invoices and invoice disputes between vendors and accounts payable in order to investigate and resolve.
This role will allow the employee to gain experience and knowledge in procurement with a variety of products, vendors and production facilities as well as the opportunity to work with different cultures and languages to break-down any barriers.
Managing Material Replenishment Planning (MRP) for all packaging and ingredient materials, analysis and confirmation of purchase requests to purchase order’s
Building and maintaining a good working relationship with suppliers and Cargill accounts payable, within our Cargill Business Services function
Invoice processing of all disputes across blocked and parked invoices for the business
Vendor management, agreement of delivery dates and confirmation of orders
Price Information Record (PIR) maintenance and updating pricing for Meat purchases
New vendor and material CRUD processing
Raising purchase orders in SAP for all fresh and frozen meat purchases for all the production sites
Raising purchase orders for all frozen imported meat for Import and Distribution supply chain
Raising purchase orders for all service providers across the business including cold store storage, transport and broker cross docking
Education to A’ level or equivalent - essential
Effective at, and passionate about, administrative tasks - essential
A fast learner, with keen attention to detail - essential
Numerate, highly motivated and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines whilst ensuring that daily tasks are completed on time – essential
Intermediate excel - essential
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - essential
Understanding and patience in order to work effectively with a wider pan-European team - essential
Previous SAP and Material Replenishment Planning (MRP) knowledge - desirable
