Boeing Government Services has been selected as the Strategic IT Partner for Staffordshire Police, delivering information services across the force and with the aim of transforming how public services consume those information services across Staffordshire
As a result an opportunity has arisen for a competent and committed procurement professional to assist in all end to end procurement activities delivering value for money as well as procurement compliance for the Staffordshire Blue Light Services programme. As the successful candidate you will be a key interface for the Supply Chain function managing key stakeholders and associated procurement requirements and work packages that are commissioned by the customer to ensure alignment with our contract and commercial performance of the contract.
Act as an authorized agent of the company with the responsibility to commit company resources through contracts and agreements for the procurement of goods and services.
Negotiates and contracts for products, services and technologies. Engages stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions. Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. Optimizes execution of the supply chain balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand. Manages supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance. Mitigates risks and issues. Initiates supplier improvement activities and provides results for integration into contracting strategies.
Degree qualified or equivalent, with Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) or other related qualification or experience
Project Management, ITIL or other IS domain relevant qualifications an advantage.
