The post holder will undertake a lead role in a growing business unit within a robust organisation who have proven to be resilient in current Global conditions, they are in the process of tendering for further new contracts.

It has been established that further Procurement review, change and transformation activities are now required to support the future development of the business unit. An experienced Procurement Leader is required to join the business to review the Procurement and Supply Chain function to define and deliver the transformation strategy in addition to acting as the Commercial Lead for the business area.
The ideal candidate for this role with have:
Demonstrable experience of coaching, developing and managing a team to achieve commercial excellence through the delivery of effective Sourcing, Category Management and Supplier Management strategies for multiple high value (£ multi- million) framework contracts.
Experience gained in a large complex, ideally international organisation within Engineering or Heavy Manufacturing
Excellent stakeholder engagement and management to Director level.
A strong proven track record of developing, managing and delivering on change and transformation strategy within Procurement and Supply Chain is a pre-requisite for consideration for this post.
