Considered emerging professionals in the supply chain planning space with developing and basic knowledge to use under direct oversight in conducting less complex activities. Responsible for coordinating one product or site with low impact on working capital, and short term outlook. This includes: supply chain planning operations, process development, planning & execution, client interaction / business partnership, and systems/data management, reporting & analysis.
Process Development Planning & Execution
You will set stock levels and monitor inventory health for one product or site, along with managing the shelf life of the products (e.g. perishable products) with direct oversight.
You will coordinate and review capacity of inventory in relation to demand of customer orders for one product or site
You will coordinate and execute all forecasting processes with direct oversight. You will provide input and support to processes, and work with stakeholders to explain and refine it. Activities include:
You will resolve forecast-related issues
You will optimize order portfolio and capacity of one product or site with short term outlook
You will be responsible for inventory planning – up to 2 weeks out
You will be responsible for sales volumes
You will be responsible for Channel capacity forecasts
You will be responsible for Supply planning
You will be responsible for Material resource planning
You will be responsible for Production scheduling
You will be responsible for a Sales and Operations Planning supporting role
You will use developing knowledge of supply chain planning practices and procedures to execute sales and operations plans and other supply chain strategies with low impact to working capital.
Supply Chain Planning Operations
You will review channel capacity on a daily basis and develop the plan in case of gaps in order to minimize cost to serve and impact to customers.
You will assist in communicating with all relevant stakeholders in the process using a basic understanding of supply chain planning practices and procedures.
You may participate in and provide support to improvement projects and commitments requiring a basic understanding of supply chain planning practices and procedures.
You will create less complex internal/external benchmark reports and activities across.
You will apply a basic understanding of supply chain planning practices and procedures to identify areas of improvement and cost management deficiencies to better equip team with efficient supply chain planning techniques and tools/systems.
Customer & client Interaction, Business Partnership
You will organize and consolidate plans created by internal stakeholders to be reviewed with more senior members of the team on the impacts of their supply chain plan. This includes all aspects regarding costs, impact on capacity, logistics, and order release
You will collaborate with peers in other BUs and/or externally (i.e. customers).
You will support MTP (Mid Term Planning) process and execution
You will provide support and execute on the evaluation and recommendation of common work processes, and improvement projects
You will be a suppporting driver of the continuous improvement process
You will use a developing knowledge and supply chain planning practices and procedures, assist in tracking and create reports on service level agreements for customers.
Systems / Data Management, Reporting & Analysis.
You will be responsible for maintaining and updating tools/systems and relationships that support accurate capacity planning, as well as other databases within the business related to shipments and inventory management items.
You will provide complex data and support to the development of supply chain optimization and scenario management models to help analyse capacity and demand forecasts with low impact on working capital.
You will track and analyse KPIs (key performance indicators) for one product or site.
You will implement actions to improve best practices across team.
You will conduct ad hoc analysis and reports with some oversight. For example: tactical sourcing, budgeting, plan vs. actual, etc.
Secondary education level or higher
Fluent in local language and good level of English (verbal and written)
Basic knowledge of production scheduling and logistics processes
Excellent understanding on tools & systems supporting production scheduling processes (e.g. JDE One World, OMP)
PC literate (e.g. MS Office Suite)
Understanding of production processes
Basic understanding of product applications at customers
Hands-on problem solver
