Reviews channel capacity on a daily basis, and develops the plan in case of gaps in order to minimize cost to serve and impact to customers. Assists in communicating with all relevant stakeholders in the process using a basic understanding of supply chain planning practices and procedures.
May participate in and provide support to improvement projects and commitments requiring a basic understanding of supply chain planning practices and procedures.
Creates less complex internal/external benchmark reports and activities across.
Applies a basic understanding of supply chain planning practices and procedures to identify areas of improvement and cost management deficiencies to better equip team with efficient supply chain planning techniques and tools/systems.
70% Process Development Planning & Execution
With direct oversight, sets stock levels and monitors inventory health for one product or site, along with managing the shelf life of the products (e.g. perishable products).
Coordinates and reviews capacity of inventory in relation to demand of customer orders for one product or site
With direct oversight, coordinates and executes all forecasting processes. Provides input and support to processes, and works with stakeholders to explain and refine it. Activities include.
Uses developing knowledge of supply chain planning practices and procedures to execute sales and operations plans and other supply chain strategies with low impact to working capital.
10% Customert & client Interaction, Business Partnership
Organizes and consolidates plans created by internal stakeholders (e.g. sales, supply management, plant operations, T&L and procurement) to be reviewed with more senior members of the team on the impacts of their supply chain plan. This includes all aspects regarding costs, impact on capacity, logistics, and order release
Using a developing knowledge and supply chain planning practices and procedures, assists in tracking and creating reports on service level agreements for customers.
10% Systems / Data Management, Reporting & Analysis.
With some oversight, conducts ad hoc analysis and reports. For example: RFQ, tactical sourcing, budgeting, plan vs. actual, etc.
Limited travel to customers/other SSE sites.
